When to use this Form: When engaging a composer to create original musical material, but under circumstances (typically budgetary) dictating that the composer (rather than the Producer) will retain ownership of the compositions, and is thus granting the Producer a license for its use in the Project. 

Do not use this form for: (1) Situations in which the Producer expects to own the music created for the Project. (2) To license pre-existing musical material. (Use a Synchronization License and Master Use License, as applicable instead) 

How to use this form: Complete all blank fields. List all musical compositions (cues) in Exhibit A ( and update at completion of the Project). Obtain the parties’ signatures, and provide Composer a copy retaining the original for your files.
